5. Schedule the test in the morning

The levels of enzymes and hormones in our blood fluctuate during the day. As a result, it is recommended that we take these tests in the morning, unusually before 10 a.m.

If your doctor recommends fasting before the blood draws, it may be better to schedule the appointment early in the morning. Chances are everything will go smoothly, and you can enjoy a delicious breakfast soon after.

6. Make sure you check the lab’s certification

When you choose where to do your investigation, the most critical aspect is to make sure it has accreditation. An accredited lab will ensure the quality of the products, services, and test results. You must verify that the laboratory’s name is listed on the accreditation board’s website.

NABL and CAP are two of the most recognized and respected certifications that confirm a laboratory adheres to quality procedures. You can check for these certifications on the lab’s official website. If this information is unavailable, contact the lab directly.
